Warranty Policy

At Cerwin-Vega, we take pride in being the manufacturer of high-quality audio products, ensuring that every item meets our stringent standards. Our commitment to excellence extends to our comprehensive warranty coverage for both our Pro and Home divisions.

Warranty Coverage:

  • Passive Speakers: 2 years
  • Active Devices: 1 year
  • Headphones: 1 year

All products sold on Cerwinvega.com are brand-new, first-quality merchandise. We also offer factory reconditioned items, clearly marked as such, which come with a limited warranty.

Factory Reconditioned Items: These items are marked as factory reconditioned and come with a limited warranty.

Warranty Claims: To make a warranty claim, please contact Cerwinvega.com customer service by email at ra2@dat-cvm.com. Depending on the issue and the specific product, we may repair, replace, or refund the item. The customer is responsible for shipping charges on defective merchandise sent to our company or the manufacturer.

Conditions That Void the Warranty:

  • Tampering: The warranty is void if serial numbers, product stickers, or manufacturer seals have been removed, altered, or tampered with.
  • Abuse and Misuse: The warranty does not cover damage due to misuse, abuse, improper installation, or operation. This includes, but is not limited to, burnt voice coils, punctured or damaged surrounds, broken speaker terminals, bent, chipped, or broken frames, ripped spiders, or damaged back plates.

Non-Covered Issues:

  • Blown, Burnt, or Abused Components: Subwoofers and speakers that have been blown, burnt, or otherwise abused are not covered under the warranty. Examples of such damage include blackened voice coils, melted adhesives, or coil separation from the former.

Cerwin-Vega defines abuse as, but not limited to, the aforementioned conditions. Submitting products with these types of damage will be considered out of warranty.
