I recieved 2 of these to try out and compare to another brands shallow subwoofers and to be honest I was a little skeptical on their performance due to how shallow they were and their power ratings compared to the other brand I have. After running them in a ported box on a stinger 1500 watt amp at 2 ohm I am pleasantly surprised! Obviously they are not going to play like a full sub and may stuggle a little with the deep deep lows for the ones that listen with sensitive ears. In my opinion they do get low but they have a serious punch to them for hard rock and metal. When you have no room for full subs like my tundra you have to seek other options. I will say that if you are seeking some bass and have low space I would recommend these all day long! Vega has seem to have gotten a bad rap over the years online but my system is about 95% vega and I have not had an issue with them yet!
