Sole' On The Ocean Resort and SPA

Sole and Cerwin VegaPerched on one of the most beautiful beaches between Miami and Fort Lauderdale, Solé On the Ocean, a boutique hotel that overlooks the shimmering sands and turquoise waters of the "Florida Riviera". Solé's attitude is also a successful blend of Miami's hot style and the more carefree and family-friendly personality of areas north. Towering 24 stories over Sunny Isles Beach, the hip Solé resort maintains a private beachfront and oceanside swimming pool to keep guests cool.

The focus of the hotel and the Sole' hotel chain is to create hip cool environments for relaxing vacations and create a nice healthy fun environment for people to relax and unwind from their weekly pressures of life. This is accomplished in grand style by having great music, barbeques by the pool every day, beach and waiter service plus they have their own private sand dune on the beach which is perfect for romantic dining with candles and torches.

Being just minutes away from Sun Stadium and the renowned Criteria / Hit Factory recording studios makes Solé a favorite haunt of sports stars and artists. Dennis Wheeler, the hotel's Director of Sales and Marketing tells all, "Yes, we do have celebrities that stay here. They come here because they can come with their families or just relax and nobody really bothers them." Naturally, music is an important part of the Solé experience including poolside DJs and live performances. Wheeler adds, everything to do with sound is very important to the hotel. The music, even when considering the challenge of being on the pool deck or on the beach, must sound great. We don't want it to be painful for an artist who knows exactly how it should and should not sound."

Solé has over 6000 ft.² of meeting and banquet space, plus ALBA, the new ocean view lounge. And although the hard floors and floor-to-ceiling windows are visually stunning, they present several acoustic challenges. According to Wheeler, "good sound means that it is loud enough to enjoy and feel but subtle enough that you can talk to your neighbor without having to scream in their ear. That is the ultimate goal of this hotel: to create an environment that gives you the power and energy of a great sonic experience but not make you walk out with your ears ringing for two days."
